About
The BoslersBobby believes that God created him to use as an instrument for good and to make a difference in the world for Christ.
Bobby grew up in Maple Shade, NJ, was raised in a Christian home, and was saved at an early age. His parents adopted him at birth and raised him to love the Lord. When he was 12 years old, however, tragedy struck the Bosler home when his mother passed away unexpectedly. Because of the trauma and pain, he found himself angry, addicted, and rebellious; he desperately needed deliverance.
Deliverance came in several forms. When Bobby was 16 years old, his dad remarried Vicki Burry, a single lady missionary to Niger. Her ministry experience and love for Christ made her the perfect vehicle for intercession and love. Not only that, but during Bobby's senior year of high school, He attended West Chester Christian School, where he met with God through several friendships, teachers, and preaching services. During this formative year, an evangelist, John Van Gelderen, came to Bobby's church in NJ and preached on the reality of the Spirit-filled life. The theology of faith-based sanctification and divine enablement gave Bobby biblical hope and his life radically began to change. It was through these three avenues converging together that Bobby surrendered his life to Christ, submitted to God's call to the ministry, and made plans to attend Bible college and train for the ministry.
God led Bobby to attend Baptist College of Ministry in Menomonee Falls, WI. It was there that he began to grow in character, faith, and effectiveness in preaching. During his time there, God confirmed his gifting in evangelism, He began using him to bring souls to Christ, and He led him to join Minutemen Ministries to lead an evangelistic team and preach the gospel to teens across the country. While he was there, God also led him to marry Abigail Wickam, a classmate, in October of 2008. Bobby received his Bachelor of Arts in 2008 and a Master of Arts in 2011 from the school.
Within weeks after graduation, Bobby and Abi hit the road and began traveling the country, ministering in churches and raising support for their ministry endeavors. In January 2012, Bobby led his first "War" tour under the auspices of Minutemen Ministries under the tutelege of Jim Van Gelderen. Through these meetings, Bobby has conducted hundreds of gospel crusades, preached the gospel to tens of thousands of teens, with many thousands trusting Christ as their Savior. Bobby loves these meetings and hopes to continue leading them as long as the Lord allows.
However, throughout the years, Bobby has also had the opportunity to conduct revival meetings in churches as well, though it has not been a primary focus of his scheduling or his ministry. In 2017, however, God made it clear to Bobby that revival meetings were going to become a larger part of his ministry. In 2023, God confirmed that calling and began to lead Bobby to begin scheduling revival meetings and other local church endeavors in earnest in addition to his staple Minutemen meetings, which he will continue to do as God leads.
There is much more to Bobby's story, but sufficed to say, he sincerely believes that God gave him life and breath, a message and a calling, specifically to bring great good and definite change to his world. Though pain and challenges surround us every day, "All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28).
